I give this Hotel restaurant an overall 4 star rating. The food: Hit or miss, some of the menu items are things a college kid would invent late at night. I tried the mid west sushi which is essentially a tortilla short rib filled burrito, good, especially the combo of picked onions and short rib, but the tortilla was a bit dried out. Then later I had the cheese curds, great, not too salt even with the garlic parm topping they put on. But the brat-stickers are a pass, wontons stuffed with sausage meat, the flavor just wasnt there. And the fried chicken sliders were also a miss, chicken too dry, and the tomato too thick, it was all around hard to eat. 3/5 The service: I'll say, it's a Monday night so there's only 1 waitress, but a few guests. The waitress was friendly, but didn't refill my water until after the check was brought. 4/5 The atmosphere: it's a pretty cool space, you can see it from the lobby front desk and you want to go in and be a part of it when it's alive. They do events too I think, and a happy hour, although that ended at 6, so me and my wife missed it. Not too loud either which is a plus for me. 5/5
What you would expect from a hotel diner. Breakfast was made to order and was hot and fresh. Coffee and service were good. If the restaurant got busy, I'm not sure they have the staffing levels required to accommodate.
